Clip 4 Breakfast combines fast recall with Named Keepers, a temporary Paste Stack, one-shot Paste As transforms, rich-graphic fidelity that keeps a PDF or vector copied from a design app intact, a privacy firewall, and explicit memory, storage, and retention controls.

Yes. When you copy a graphic that carries a PDF or vector representation, Clip 4 Breakfast keeps that representation and pastes it back intact into Photoshop, Pages, or another app, with a plain-text fallback for text fields. The full data is stored on disk and only a small thumbnail stays in memory, so a history of large graphics does not grow the app's footprint.

The current native app stores clipboard history locally and includes no cloud sync, analytics, or remote logging. Future network features would require a new security review and clear opt-in behavior.

No. It rejects concealed content, excluded apps, and a bounded set of high-signal secret patterns. It cannot reliably identify every free-form password or one-time code.

A Context Pack is a temporary, ordered Markdown brief made from up to 20 clips. It can include an instruction, file paths, and image metadata, stays in memory, and clears when Clip 4 Breakfast quits. Context Packs are included with Trial and Pro.

Yes. Safe Paste is available in Free, Trial, and Pro. It replaces supported sensitive patterns locally and requires review of the redacted output when it finds one.

No. Safe Paste checks structured credentials, private keys, credential URLs, Authorization headers, sensitive assignments, and home paths. It cannot reliably identify every password or one-time code.

No. The active Context Pack stays in memory for the current session and clears when Clip 4 Breakfast quits. It is not written to the clipboard history database.

A Pro feature that captures a window with one keyboard shortcut and puts it on your clipboard already framed on a designed backdrop, with padding, rounded corners, a soft shadow, and film grain. Ten backdrops are included, the raw capture is kept alongside the framed one, and everything is processed on your Mac without the Screen Recording permission.

The implemented trial returns the app to Free instead of making it unusable. Public availability remains gated by live license and purchase verification.
